- After the End
I know that you're out there, and that our paths once crossed. For a while, it was great, and our lives were intertwined with what seemed like a blaze of glory. But now it's over, and we've both gone our separate ways. I don't wish to still know you. As a matter of fact I was the one running, but a small part of me never let go of the fact that you were the one who made me run.
Emily Dickinson
- "Hope" is the thing with feathers
"Hope" is the thing with feathers - That perches in the soul - And sings the tune without the words - And never stops - at all - And sweetest - in the Gale - is heard - And sore must be the storm - That could abash the little Bird That kept so many warm - I've heard it in the chillest land - And on the strangest Sea - Yet - never - in Extremity, It asked a crumb - of me.
