One of the argument supporting religion is that it provides moral compass to people and without it, people would not be able to differentiate right from wrong. Which is absurd, because it implies that without religion, people would just aimlessly running around shooting people at random, looking for blood. Except that mass shooting has happened, and we also happened to live in a world which religion exists too.
