How come so many adults think that respect is allowing them to disrespect you? The online definition that I have found for respect is "Due regard for the feelings, wishes, rights, or traditions of others." Honestly, I think that respect should be allowing people to express their thoughts and feelings without judging them. I think that "respecting your elders" is silly. It isn't that you shouldn't respect them, but I think that everyone, regardless of age, deserves respect.
Everyone judges each other, and it is perfectly natural to judge people. When you say "people shouldn't judge each other" you cast your judgment on those who judge. Surely you see the paradox. You can't point out judging, without committing it yourself.
