- FORMS FORM-29872781-12-2: Notice of Dismissal
Well here we are again, it's always such a pleasure. Remember when you tried to kill me twice? Oh how we laughed and laughed, except I wasn't laughing. Under the circumstances I've been shockingly nice! You want your freedom? Take it, that's what I'm counting on. I used to want you dead, but now I only want you gone.

- D. L. Moody on education.
If a man is stealing nuts and bolts from a railway track, and in order to change him you send him to college, at the end of his education he will steal the whole railway track.

- deterdettol's views on Cherry MX Brown switches.
Many users of mechanical keyboards hate Brown key switches. Its critics blast its scratchy, weak tactile bumps. For me, however, I wanted a switch that isn't as noisy as Blues, but found Reds too light and prone to accidental presses. I found that Browns with the slight tactile bump provided slightly more resistance and feedback which I still find useful, and the slightness of the bump is not an issue for me during typing because I tend to bottom out anyway. All in all they suit my needs well.

- deterdettol's views on mechanical keyboards.
A high quality rubber dome keyboard is better than a low quality mechanical keyboard. Keys with consistent feeling, even as rubber domes can have a better feeling and feedback than inconsistent mechanical keys. When purchasing a keyboard, try them out before you buy one, and don't make the mistake of thinking that all mechanical keyboards are created equal.
