When you are feeling down, look at the sky and praise God for all the amazing things he's given you. Remember that you are amazing and one of a kind. Think of all the good things that have happened. Reflect on your past and rejoice with all of the things you've done and don't dwell on the bad. If you try your hardest and believe in miracles, life will be easier.

While I'd want to argue that no god never promised any of us anything at all, I agree with teilo's essential argument: Don't expect miracles to fix your shit for you.

"If you try your hardest and believe in miracles, life will be easier." - Or, rather, life will be incredibly frustrating. Lower your expectations. God never promised you life would be easy. He promised you it would be hard.
