- The Meaning of Life
I don't know what the meaning of life is, but I do know that I want to be happy. I have had all of the money in the world, a nice car, a nice home, a great jog, but inside I was miserable. I also have been broke, lived in a income based apartment, made the the minimum at my job, and drove an old beater truck, but had more peace of mind then I had ever had in my life. I love the quote, "Some people are so poor that all they have is money." I understand what that means today.

I have found The Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds.

- A woman's age
The only time you should care about a woman's age is if she is too young for you. And I am not robbing the cradle. If anything, I am robbing the grave.

- Crazy Mary
She sits on a curve in the road. In an old tar paper shack. On the south side of the town, on the wrong side of the tracks. Sometimes on the way into town, we say, "Momma can we stop and give her a ride?." Sometimes we did, but her hands flew from her sides. Wild-eyed, Crazy Mary...
