Does intelligence define worth of life? Is your life worth more than someone who has learning difficulties? Is it morally justified to harm or exploit the vulnerabilities of an individual simply because they are less intelligent? No, of course not. Intelligence does not predicate an individual's right not to suffer. So then I ask: why do people point to an animal's intelligence when trying to justify killing them, chopping them into pieces, and eating them?

- Personal Choice
Is personal choice a valid moral justification for an atrocious act committed against a victim? That is, if someone harms a victim, was it morally okay to do so just because it was the abuser's personal choice to do so? No, of course not. Personal preference can't justify anything when a victim is involved. So then I ask: why do people use this as an excuse when confronted with the fact that they pay for animals to be needlessly abused for the flavor of their bodies?

Is slavery - owner, victim, profit, domination - exclusive to the human race? Have Blacks, Jews, women, and children been the only victims of this atrocity? Have not cows been enslaved? What about pigs, chickens, turkeys, fish, sheep? If they're not enslaved, then what are they? Free? Can slavery have a victim that is neither a human nor an animal? Have not the oceans, the forests, the earth itself, become victims of ownership too?

Every November, during the certain holiday people love so much, people take a dead turkey, open up the dead turkey's ass, or carve out a really big hole in their ass, take some stuffing and shove it inside their dead empty ass, and use the little dead ass as an oven to bake some bread. Somebody else's dead empty bacteria-laden ass to make bread? Ass bread?! And people think vegans are weird? Because we eat tofu? And rice, and beans, and lentils?

If cows, pigs, chickens and turkeys go into slaughterhouses alive and come out chopped up into hundreds of pieces, how could anyone claim that animals aren't being mistreated, abused, tortured, terrorized and savagely murdered in these places? How in the world could slaughtering billions of innocents be done with love, humanity and concern?

- They Don't Matter
The problem is that humans have victimized animals to such a degree that they are not even considered victims. They are not even considered at all. They are nothing. They don't count; they don't matter; they're commodities like TV sets and cell phones. We have actually turned animals into inanimate objects - sandwiches and shoes.
