I always get bored while at work. We work twelve to fourteen hours, and at least four of those hours are dead time. It can be more exhausting to go through longer periods of nothingness than shorter periods of high activity.

With all the doom and gloom in the news these days it was amazing to see the thousands of supporters and volunteers out there cheering-on and handing water to strangers like me. The whole scene made me smile so much. There really are so many regular people out there doing good things.
