The other day, I was sitting on my bed. I was thinking, intensely about my recent breakup. Trying to find every single reason why he would do that, even after him explaining. His reasoning made sense, I guess that made it hurt more. I wished he had cheated, because I wanted a reason to hate him. I wanted a reason to be mad at him for breaking up with me. But he didn't, he didn't cheat, he told me the truth. I just have to learn to accept what it is.

You know it really hurts when everyone else seemingly has their life together and you're still stuck on two years ago. All I can say is "I'm happy for you." I never say it. The other day, I got the text. Saying that we should go back to being "just friends." My heart sunk and I couldn't breathe. It felt like my heart had been ripped from my chest. I texted my best friends with the words "he broke up with me." At first, I couldn't believe it. The reality just sunk in. He wants to be friends, I don't know if I can be right now.
