Later, picture within her pockets, she picked her way up to the seat, attempting to advance. Nothing. The sand had gripped the wheels in its grainy fingers, cementing the machine in place. She fell. The bicycle didn't. The sand buckled. The grainy void engulfed her machine, bringing her only sustenance with it.

Sometimes I daydream about my childhood home. I walk through the rooms in my head and remember Christmases, birthday parties, and family get togethers long past. I recall playing with my siblings and pets on the living room floor, eating homemade meals in the kitchen, and cozy nights in my bedroom. A part of me was left behind in that house, like a child's ghost roaming the halls.

Getting older is really just a lot more responsibility and schoolwork. I also have outside tutoring and all the homework and unfinished assignments, or schoolwork makes it harder to finish everything in time. So that's why you need a schedule. I'll try to finish all my homework from school on Monday after I go to tutoring. And the rest of the time. I finish my other homework. Just like that. I guess?
