the loner M - smart people
How come people rely on smart people on studying, answering questions during class and for homework answers. As soon as they get the highest score in the class it's because that person is a "nerd" or "the smart person." But as soon as someone gets a higher score than that smart person it's "haha, you didn't study enough this time" like their better than them even though it was once they got a higher score than the smart ones.

Now that some time has passed since Yahoo Answers was shut down, it is confirmed. The world is now full of people who do not know how a baby is formed and have no way of finding out.

Fellow Typist - No, You're Not the Only One
Something I realized a while ago is that people have more common habits with one another than most think. I hear a lot of "Oh my gosh, I thought I was the only one!" when someone else reveals a small habit of theirs. It's not only habits, but also experiences. For me, whenever I'm going through something or experiencing something, I always think "I can't be the only one." rather than "Am I the only one?"

Haku - Naruto - Kindness to an enemy
Often people have it wrong, mistakenly believing... that showing mercy to an enemy is kindness. They spare the foe whose life is in their hands. But don't you see? It's an empty existence, to go on living... alone and unloved... when defeat's already cost you your dream!

Tiffany - Our Love
Being with you is both the easiest and hardest thing to do. It is easy because you are my best friend and I love spending time with you. However, it is also hard because no one drives me as insane as you! We know everything about each other and know exactly which buttons to push and when. But even with all of that our love is still the best thing to ever happen to me.

Me, Myself and I - This is my quote
I'm not totally sure what I should write in this quote but one of the achievements of this game is to write a quote and I'm a sucker for finishing all of the achievements of anything. So here is my quote.

Robert Jordan - New Spring
He is born again! I feel him! The Dragon takes his first breath on the slope of Dragonmount! He is coming! He is coming! Light help us! Light help the world! He lies in the snow and cries like the thunder! He burns like the sun!

Robert Jordan - The Wheel of Time
Twice and twice shall he be marked, twice to live, and twice to die. Once the heron, to set his path. Twice the heron, to name him true. Once the Dragon, for remembrance lost. Twice the Dragon for the price he must pay.

Robert Jordan - The Wheel of Time
Till Shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder's eye on the Last Day.

Carl Sagan - Demon-Haunted World
At the heart of science is an essential balance between two seemingly contradictory attitudes - an openness to new ideas, no matter how bizarre or counterintuitive they may be, and the most ruthless skeptical scrutiny of all ideas, old and new. This is how deep truths are winnowed from deep nonsense.

All Might - To The Surface
There is absolutely no merit in taking of that faux villain but that creates the opportunity for it to shine brightly. That's right. It rises to the surface. The most important qualification of a hero. The spirit of self-sacrifice!

Jon Connington - A Dance With Dragons by GRRM
But his father and his father's father had never lost their lands. He had. I rose too high, loved too hard, dared too much. I tried to grasp a star, overreached, and fell.

Cambridge - The heart
The heart is considered to be a muscle and, just like any other muscle in your body, your diet has a direct impact on the way that it works. The food you eat every day can affect the way that blood flows through your heart and arteries. A diet that is high in fat can gradually cause a build-up in your arteries that slows down the blood flow and can even block small arteries. If an artery that carries blood to the heart becomes blocked, the heart muscle can die. This is known as a heart attack an.

Aesop Rock - Door at the Door
Huh? Who's there? Dog at the front door barking at the air. Wind all "woosh" in the trees. Then, "chk chk chk chk" feet on leaves. Uh, it's probably a cat. Might be a guy with an axe. Might be a trap. Shit, it's probably a trap. Might be a possum in the trash. It's probably a trap. "Aye, keep it moving." God, I sound stupid. Good chance I'm not even talking to a human. Then again it's probably a trap, somebody had to set it. Depending on the type, maybe several.

Michael I. Bennet, MD - F*ck Feelings: Getting to the root of your problem doesn't always yeild a solution
People prefer to believe that, with enough fact gathering, insight, and the heart-to-heart sharing of honest, heretofore suppressed, and probably embarrassing emotion, any problem can be sourced and solved. In fact, knowing why you've got a bad habit usually gives you no ability to stop it, and the search for deeper knowledge sometimes serves as an excuse for waiting until it's easier to stop, which it never is. So getting to the root of your problem is often a waste of time.

Michael I. Bennet, MD - We're often f*cked
Neuroscience seems to show that many emotional and behavioral problems we thought were caused by bad parents or trauma are also caused by wiring that isn't reversible. This explains why self-improvement is hard and sometimes impossible, even when we're strong willed and well guided. In other words, we're often f*cked.

Fred Rogers - The World According to Mister Rogers: Important Things to Remember
There's no "should" or "should not" when it comes to having feelings. They're part of who we are and their origins are beyond our control. When we can believe that, we may find it easier to make constructive choices about what to do with those feelings.

Someone who's tired of living through a pandemic that should have ended already - Ant-Maskers Are Anti-Freedom
It's ironic how the people who refuse to wear a mask claim that it's because wearing a mask is taking away their freedom, but because they're refusing to wear a mask, they are taking away everyone else's freedom. You refuse to wear a mask in public spaces, covid cases continue to rise, and we go back into lockdown, therefore taking away everyone's freedom. Stop being selfish and just wear a mask.

Terry Pratchett - Equal Rites
Animal minds are simple, and therefore sharp. Animals never spend time dividing experience into little bits and speculating about all the bits they've missed. The whole panoply of the universe has been neatly expressed to them as things to (a) mate with, (b) eat, (c) run away from, and (d) rocks.

Altum - Wake Up
Wake up to a day that starts fresh, bright and anew. Wake up to a reality that days can be dark, dull and askew. Wake up to a reality that you may build and build and go and go. Pause for a moment; open your eyes and contemplate, 'What is motivating me to continue to run and run? What purpose do we have that lasts for eternity when even the stones that the ancients have built will crumble away into dust?' There is only one eternal truth-filled answer to this. Do you know?
