- glasses
I wear glasses. Always have, and probably always will. When I wake up, I put on my glasses, and look out the window. I watch as trees sway in the breeze, along the front lawn's green grass. However, today, I woke up and realized I slept with my glasses on! I peeled them off my face and wiped the lens with the cloth of my shirt. Then, I looked out the window. There was no breeze, no sway in the trees, and the grass was long dried up. The dirt on my lens kept me from seeing the world's true form.

Don't be so quick to throw away your life. No matter how disgraceful or embarrassing it may be, you need to keep struggling to find your way out until the very end.

- Introductions
Maybe, but it may be good to at least find out who we all are before digging into the bigger problems here. I mean, how are we even supposed to talk to each other if we do not know each other's names?
Grammarly
Writing's not that easy, but Grammarly can help. This sentence is grammatically correct, but it's wordy and hard to read. It undermines the writer's message, and the word choice is bland. Grammarly's cutting-edge technology helps you craft compelling, understandable writing that makes an impact on your reader.

- Water
It seems now, that after having tried it many times, I find myself unable to record poetry. Whether it is on a computer or in a journal, I am always disgusted by my mediocrity. Perhaps I will write it here, as I will not be forced to face an old cheesy poem every time I want to write a newer, even worse one. And besides, it seems interesting that others may type one of my poems out themselves. I hope this site accepts poetry!
Albert Camus
- Philosophical Suicide
The feeling of the absurd is not, for all that, the notion of the absurd. It lays the foundations for it, and that is all. It is not limited to that notion, except in the brief moment when it passes judgement on the universe. Subsequently it has a chance of going further. It is alive; in other words, it must die or else reverberate.
Skylar Bruce
- Strange Case
She sips her coffee slowly and skims her book a bit. "What the deuce is it too me?" She read aloud in a terrible British accent "you say that we go round the sun. If we went around the moon it would make a pennyworth of difference to me or my work." She scoffed "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle you romanticize this shit way too much" she laughed a bit to herself.

- Reality vs imaginary
As we walk in the hallways of an average high school. Jocks, cheerleaders, nerds, teachers, quiet kids and many other high school roles. Whenever you just sit down to hear another math question or another boring story. Do you ever wonder what it would be like if something didn't happen? Like what if you didn't go somewhere really important, what would happen then? Would your life be any different than it was before? Probably not, but still makes your mind really think.

- A Little Life
There were times when the pressure to achieve happiness felt almost oppressive, as if happiness were something that everyone should and could attain, and that any sort of compromise in its pursuit was somehow your fault.
Hanya Yanagihara
- A Little Life
I have become lost to the world in which I otherwise wasted so much time. It means nothing to me. Whether the world believes me dead, I can hardly say anything to refute it, for truly I am no longer a part of the world.
Hanya Yanagihara
- A Little Life
Why wasn't friendship as good as a relationship? Why wasn't it even better? It was two people who remained together, day after day, bound not by sex or physical attraction or money or children or property, but only by the shared agreement to keep going, the mutual dedication to a union that could never be codified.

- This Too Shall Pass
We think too big, we think our self is one whole thing and we claim that this collection has a name and is a being, but deep inside, when every cell divides it sets upon the rule that states self-interest is divine.

- Hub McCann
I'm Hub McCann. I've fought in two world wars, and countless smaller ones on three continents. I've led thousands of men into battle with everything from horses and swords to artillery and tanks. I've seen the headwaters of the Nile and tribes of natives no white men had ever seen before. I've won and lost a dozen fortunes, killed many men, and loved only one woman... With a passion a flea like you could never begin to understand! That's who I am.

- Friends
"Support your friends - even in their mistakes. But be clear, however, that it is the friend and not the mistake you are supporting." This quote is so very true and should be taken into consideration.
Hugh Prather
- Mistakes
I sometimes react to making a mistake as if I have betrayed myself. My fear of making a mistake seems to be based on the hidden assumption that I am potentially perfect and that if I can be very careful, I will not fall from heaven. But a 'mistake' is a declaration of the way I am, a jolt to the way I intend, a reminder I am not dealing with the facts. When I have listened to my mistakes, I have grown.

- Washing Machine Heart
Toss your dirty shoes in my washing machine heart, baby bang it up inside. I'm not wearing my usual lipstick, I thought maybe we would kiss tonight. Baby, will you kiss me already and toss your dirty shoes in my washing machine heart, baby bang it up inside.

- Love
Love is confusing, concerning, and downright annoying to have to deal with, at least that was my experience with it. Until recently, when I met the love of my life. Him, nobody can be like him and no one will ever replace him. He's the first man to ever love me like this. I've been hurt many times in the past but he's healing me, he's helping me see my true self and my self worth. I hope one day you find your true love too, and you're as happy as I am.

- Stranger's Insignificant Opinion
I once read a book that said that everything will eventually end. No people, zilch. And it's true. That is one thing I will look forward to. No Jessica picking on me, no Meredith backing her up. No Anais with her high, overly sweet voice that makes me want to punch something. Just a thought.

- A tip for quote makers
I have said this, and I will say it again. Using incredibly long complicated words that sound sophisticated and loquacious and equanimous don't make your quotes any less confusing. They just make us more confused than we already are.

- A sublime summer afternoon
Sitting amidst the sun and haze of a warm spring day, one is lifted out of their physicality, becoming one with nature and the cosmos as the drudgery of work and human existence slowly drifts away. Such a description is one that feeds a reader's aesthetic and physical senses. Appealing to the quality of greatness, a feeling of ecstasy is produced.
