- Skyfall
I've only watched one James Bond movie, Skyfall to be exact. I must say that the movie offers no dialogue that holds substance because most of the film is all action scenes. Big things go boom, unnecessary parkour, and a blue eyed suave man. What made the movie exciting though was Adele. She sang Skyfall with such power and grace, it almost made me forget about the entire movie. That James Bond film would've been a cinematic masterpiece if Halle Berry was Mr. Bond instead.

- Tess of the D'Ubervilles
I don't know about ghosts, but I do know that our souls can be made to go outside our bodies when we are alive. A very easy way to feel 'em go is to lie on the grass at night and look straight up at some big bright star; and, by fixing your mind upon it, you will soon find that you are hundreds and hundreds of miles away from your body, which you don't seem to want at all.

- Kenettran Folk Tales (The Young Elites)
Once upon a time, a prince fell madly in love with a demon from the Underworld. When she disappeared back into the sea, he ached so much for her that he walked into the ocean and never returned.

- The Dagger Society Initiation Pledge (The Young Elites)
I hereby pledge to serve the Dagger Society, to strike fear into the hearts of those who rule Kenettra, to take by death what belongs to us, and to make the power of our Elites known to every man, woman, and child. Should I break my vow, let the dagger take from me what I took from the dagger.

- Letter from Amendar of Orange (The Young Elites)
I joined the Spring Moons festivities for the first time, and it was as if I had come into a strange land. The people have transformed into visions of faeries and ghouls. I cannot decide if I want to stay or leave.

- CAPITAL LETTERS GRAB ATTENTION
Most people never use caps lock, because CAPS LOCK IS VERY LOUD, AND WHEN TYPING MANY PEOPLE PREFER IT TO BE calm, and collected. Caps lock is a TOOL THAT many people don't USE. And as ANNOYING as it is, you need to USE CAPS LOCK some more.

- Keyboard Warrior
Don't type until you can get it all right. Type until you can't get it wrong under any circumstance. Remember that as long as you look at the keyboard while typing, your speed will always be limited and you will never achieve speeds which other touch typists out here are capable to attain.

- Old Salem
In some months of the year, however, there often chances a forenoon when affairs move onward with a livelier tread. Such occasions might remind the elderly citizen of that period before the last war with England, when Salem was a port by itself; not scorned, as she is now, by her own merchants and ship-owners, who permit her wharves to crumble to ruin, while their ventures go to swell, needlessly and imperceptibly, the mighty flood of commerce at New York or Boston.

Friendly reminder that this is how dangerous parasocial relationships can form. The quotes don't fucking love you. The quotes can't fucking love you. The quotes don't KNOW you. You can type the quotes but they can't fucking love you.

- Cheese is so good!
I love cheese! It's so creamy, delicious, and oh so tasty! I want my own cheesemaker at home. Where can I find a bathtub size amount of cheese? I want to bathe in cheese. I want to make a house out of cheese. When I get hungry I can eat the walls!

- Pretty In Pink
You couldn't buy her, though, that's what's killing you, isn't it? Stef? That's it, Stef. She thinks you're shit. And deep down, you know she's right.

- People are Important
People who put themselves on the line and sacrifice their own safety for the greater good and for others, and anyone in any profession whose concern is the welfare for other people instead of the individual, are inspiring and important.

- Love at First Sight
So, there I was... all but speechless as the man of my dreams came walking around the corner. Everything seemed to be in slow motion. He was the most handsome man I had ever seen. Little did I know... this man would someday be my husband.

- The Golden Rule
The only thing that works in this world is that you treat others as they treat you. Those that have treated me with kindness, I will repay that kindness tenfold. And those that treat me with injustice, that use me, that hunt me down, that hurt my friends... I shall repay that injustice a thousand times over.

- Musings
The number of Kurt Vonnegut quotes on this website warms my heart. I haven't actually read the guy, but he seems awesome. People seem to really be into his way of thinking.

- Quote
I tried to write a quote that I created, and it said it already exists. This made me very happy, as it made me realize the similarities all humans have and the beauty of our shared experiences and emotions.

- Fate
The problem isn't that I don't think there is anyone in this world for me. The problem is that I don't think that I will ever find them, or perhaps I have already lost them.

- Discipline
Leaders should never be satisfied. They must always strive to improve, and they must build that mind-set into the team. They must face the facts through a realistic, brutally honest assessment of themselves and their team's performance. Identifying weaknesses, good leaders seek to strengthen them and come up with a plan to overcome challenges. The best teams anywhere, like the SEAL Teams, are constantly looking to improve, add capability, and push the standards higher.

- The Federal Eagle
Nevertheless, vixenly as she looks, many people are seeking, at this very moment, to shelter themselves under the wing of the federal eagle; imagining, I presume, that her bosom has all the softness and snugness of an eiderdown pillow. But she has no great tenderness, even in her best moods, and, sooner or later-oftener soon then late-is apt to fling off her nestlings, with a scratch of her claw, a dab of her beak, or a rankling wound from her barbed arrows.
