- Great thinkers
Great thinkers will not be known had they not publish the inner workings of their minds in a book or speak their stuff to society in any way. So if you're a heavy daydreamer, it might be a good idea to write 'em in a notebook, or maybe type them out in google docs so your ideas will have a place in history.
Jim Butcher, Vignette (Dresden Files)
- Evil and Stupidity
Evil isn't the real threat to the world. Stupid is just as destructive as Evil, maybe more so, and it's a hell of a lot more common. What we really need is a crusade against Stupid. That might actually make a difference.
John Steinbeck
- Grapes of Wrath
That man who is more than his elements knows the land is more than its analysis. But the machine man, driving a dead tractor on land he does not know and love, understands only chemistry; and he is contemptuous of the land and of himself.
Gary Nguyễn
- This is My Quote
I didn't know what quote I wanted to submit to this website so I think I'm just going to write my own. Uhhhh zebras, umbrellas and apple pie. I don't know what to write, but I do know that this quote should be uniquely mine since it's kind of all nonsense. Yea, that's it.
Red Band Society
- Emma Chota
I'm not better. Okay? I'm not better and I keep waiting for someone to figure that out, and they don't! I mean, of course they don't, 'cause as long as I say the right thing and I act the right way, they're happy. Because that means that they cured me, right?

- Life In A Paper Bag
Living in a paper bag forever is difficult to stay elated for a human, a dog, and even for an ant. It is a bleak time for a bright day, which the paper limits the perception of the white celestial clouds and robust green trees. However, lives disappear outside the paper bag from the lingering disease, too. Not only does the paper bag fabricate a barrier between friends, the outside, too, builds a deplorable restriction of teeming people in airports, stadiums, amusement parks, and cities.
Demi Lovato
- Dancing With the Devil
It's just a little white line, I'll be fine. But soon, that little white line is a little glass pipe. Tin foil remedy almost got the best of me. I keep praying I don't reach the end of my lifetime. Twisted reality, hopeless insanity. I told you I was okay, but I was lying. I was dancing with the devil.
Roald Dahl
- If you have good thoughts -
If you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely. And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.
Ash Playz
- Life
Hello. Life is sad. Life is dreary. Life is happy. Life is sunshine. Life is a volcano, ready to explode. Life is a caterpillar, ready to be a butterfly. Life is life.
Starship Troopers
- It's a Good Day to Die
It's a good day to die, when you know the reasons why, citizens, we fight for what is right. A noble sacrifice, when duty calls, you pay the price. For the Federation, I will give my life.
Vikings
- Ragnar Lothbrok's Last Words
Oh, how the little piggies will grunt when they hear how the Old Boar suffered. It gladdens me to know that Odin prepares for a feast. I shall not enter Odin's hall with fear. There I shall wait for my sons to join me. And when they do, I will bask in their tales of triumph.

- Sticking with clichés
I appreciate uniqueness and out of the box thinking in tv series that I watch as much as the next guy but sometimes it ruins things. In an effort to appear meaningful or intelligent shows become obscure only making 'sense' to diehard fans with the rest trying to understand the hype around it. Sometimes old is gold.
James Burke
- The Day the Universe Changed
You might break the mold that has held us back since the beginning. We will describe the future as balanced anarchy and they will describe as an open society- tolerant of every view and aware that there is no single, privileged way of doing things. Above all, able to do away with the greatest tragedy of our era: The centuries-old waste of human talent that we couldn't, or wouldn't use. Utopia? Why? If as I've said all along, the universe is at any time what you say it is, then say.

- Testing this quote
I am testing this quote. I am testing this quote. I am testing this quote. I am testing this quote. I am testing this quote. I am testing this quote. I am testing this quote. I am testing this quote.
Candace Owens
- Free Speech on College Campus'
You can't speak as a conservative on campus without being boycott, without being protested, without students lining up and playing music loudly so that they can drown out the sound of your voices.

- Absorbing the Home
The rusty gate yawns open to the long leafy driveway next to the 100-year-old oak tree in the middle of gleaming bold flowers and the rain's fragrance in my jungly backyard. Also, ascending the staircase to the brilliant chlorinated water of the swimming pool with a sizzling patio like the fiery sand of a beach, too, leads to my long cozy dwelling with chipping grey-blue paint on the walls.
Thomas Sowell
- Thomas Sowell on the Social Discourse
If you have always believed that everyone should play by the same rules and be judged by the same standards, that would have gotten you labeled a radical 60 years ago, a liberal 30 years ago and a racist today.
Kenny Chesney
- Knowin' You
Knowin' you was a free fall from a hundred thousand feet, when you don't even care where you land. And knowin' you was the kind of rush that you feel when you finally get to sit in with the band. And knowin' you, you're still a tumbleweed. I only wish that you would tumble back to me. But God, we were so alive. I was a kid on a carnival ride, holdin' my breath til the moment when you were gonna leave me too soon. But I'd do it all over again, cause damn, it was good knowin' you.

- Keep On Typing
I started to learn touch typing out of boredom. As a way to kill my downtime at work. I could do about fifty words a minute, but I had to look down at the keyboard all the time. Now, doing that almost every day at work, about a year later, I can do an average of one hundred words a minute without a glance at the keyboard. I'm so proud of myself. Keep typing, champ. You'll get there too, if you're not already faster than me.
